Why is there an "extras pack" and what is it for?
Sometimes the sounds provided in the voicebank are not enough to help creators express themselves. That is why we made some extra sounds.
Some of these extra sounds are just breath packs, compilations of breath samples that can be easily used in a DAW to add an extra layer of expression (or if the basic breaths are not enough for you).
Other times, the extra sounds can be simple sounds or whole voice acted phrases according to each character's personalities.
What is the difference between UTAU and OpenUTAU releases?
While UTAU voicebanks are compatible with OpenUTAU, each release is specifically adapted to the software they are meant to be used in.
As well, there might be a difference between the resamplers in use, or how the appends/pitches behave in each program.
